Write a story with AI
Come up with a plot, characters and a genre – the AI writes a story or a bedtime tale for your child and helps you polish the chapters. Pick a genre and a hero, and the first page appears alongside.
Prompt sent to the chat: «Write a gentle bedtime story for a 5–7-year-old with a happy ending, one page long (about 250 words). Main character: Timothy the cat. Open with action rather than a weather description, write in a lively voice with dialogue, and do not spell out the moral.»
Stories, fairy tales and poems are free on the Starter plan. The prompt opens in the chat, where you can ask it to continue the story or make edits.
Every evening Timothy the cat waits for the streetlamps to come on. But tonight the lamplighter is ill, and the streets are sinking into darkness. Timothy the cat looks at the old ladder by the lamppost and realises: if not now, the lamps will never light. Down below, someone softly calls Timothy the cat by name…

A bedtime story
A new story every evening, where your child meets their own heroes: a favourite toy, the cat from grandma’s, a friend from nursery. Give the age, the hero’s name and what happened today, say “afraid of the dark” or “fell out with his brother”. The story gently leads to the topic without lecturing. For reading aloud, 200–250 words is enough – about 5–7 minutes.
- 02
A story for school
You have been asked to make up a story, a fairy tale or a continuation of a book. Give the school year, topic and length, and ask it to write “like a pupil would, without big words”. Treat the result as a draft: reread it, swap the details for your own, rewrite a couple of paragraphs in your own words. For argumentative essays there is a separate page on essays.
- 03
Continue your own text
Stuck halfway? Paste what you have into the chat and ask for three options for what might happen next, not a finished chapter. That way the story stays yours. If you do need the text itself, ask it to keep the style, the narrator and the names, and send a long manuscript in parts.
- 04
Poems
A poem for a school show, a counting rhyme, a lullaby, a fairy tale in verse. Set the form: “3 stanzas of 4 lines, steady rhythm”. Read it aloud: if a line stumbles, write “the rhythm is off in the second stanza, fix it”. Tired rhymes like “love – above” can be banned outright.
How to write a book together with AI
A whole novella will not come out of one prompt: you get a summary, not a book. A different order works – from the outline to chapters, in one conversation.
- 1
Idea and ending
Who the hero is, what they want, what stands in the way and how it all ends. Five lines, no more.
- 2
Characters
A card for each: looks, personality, how they talk, what they fear.
- 3
Chapter outline
A paragraph per chapter. Keep editing the outline until you like it – that is cheaper than rewriting the text.
- 4
Chapter by chapter
“Write chapter 3 from the outline.” After each one, edit: pace, dialogue, unnecessary description.
Create a character
A character comes alive through details: a habit, a catchphrase, an object they never part with. Ask for a character card, then a scene where those details show in action.
Common mistakes
A prompt that is too general gives a template: “once upon a time, and they became friends”. No conflict means no story. A moral in the last line reads like a lecture – ask for “the lesson without words, through an action”. Check names and details between chapters: the AI may forget the heroine had red hair.
Illustrations and colouring pages for your story
Once the story is ready, you can make a picture for each scene in one style, and then a line-art colouring page of the same scene. That is image work, available on plans from ₽690 – more on the colouring pages from a photo or description page.

Is writing a story with AI free?
Yes. Stories, fairy tales and poems are text requests, available on the Starter plan. Only pictures for the story are paid, from ₽690.
How do I make up a fairy tale about my child?
Give their name, age, favourite toys and what is on their mind right now. Ask to make them the hero who finds a way out on their own. Details from real life are what make a story a favourite.
Can AI write a whole book?
In parts, yes: an outline, characters, then chapter by chapter in one conversation. A single prompt only gives a short summary, so long form is written in steps.
Can I write a story from a picture?
Yes. Attach the picture in the chat and say what kind of story you need: genre, length, whose point of view. The AI describes the scene and builds a plot around it.
How do I keep the text from sounding generic?
Give it a conflict and concrete details, ask it to open with action and use more dialogue. If it comes out bland, try “rewrite it bolder, drop the clichés” or “add an unexpected twist in the middle”.
Will the story work for a school assignment?
As a draft and a source of ideas, yes. Give the school year and length, then reread it and rewrite it in your own words: the teacher expects your story, not someone else’s.
