Write a greeting with AI
Pick who you are writing to, the occasion, the tone and the form – a draft card appears next to the form. The AI writes the text in fresh words, with the details only you know.
Prompt sent to the chat: «Write a greeting to my mom for a birthday in a warm, personal tone, in prose: 3–4 sentences, in your own words, no clichés like “wishing you health and happiness”. Details about the person: Loves her garden and her peonies, took up watercolor painting this year.»
Greetings are a text scenario, free on the Starter plan (30 units of energy). A card with an image comes with plans from Lite at ₽690.
Mom, my dear!
Happy birthday! May this year bring plenty of good news, quiet evenings and people who make life easy. Thank you for caring, for calling just because, and for the calm I always feel around you.
Big hugs!– your name
The preview is put together from ready-made pieces. In the chat the AI writes a new text with your details and offers options.
A greeting in verse without the tired rhymes
The AI keeps meter and rhyme better than you would expect. Two examples, from the same pieces as the builder above.
How to ask for good verse
Give the length: “one stanza” for a message or “three stanzas” for a card. Say which rhymes are off limits: “no day – say, no year – dear”. If the rhythm limps, write “even out the meter, iambic tetrameter” and the AI rewrites it.
The best verse comes from one living detail: a garden, a cat, a marathon, a first grandchild. Add it to the box above.
May kind words start your day just right, With flowers, calls and wishes too, May home be always warm and bright For friends and all that’s dear to you!
My New Year wishes are quite small: A bowl of salad, extra large, A holiday that’s long and tall, And Mondays never take the charge!
A greeting for a teacher from the class or the parents
The most common school request is what to write to a teacher. Say who the greeting is from and what the teacher is remembered for.
Teacher’s Day
Ask for a greeting from the class, from the parents or from graduates: each one needs different words. Name the subject and what the class values most.
Preschool teacher
Preschool teachers get messages from the group’s parents: thank you for the patience, for a child who runs to preschool happily. Name the group and a couple of moments, and the text becomes yours rather than a stock one.
Last day of school and graduation
This needs a “thank you for the years” tone, not “happy holiday”. The AI writes a 60–90 second speech from the parents or a short note for a gift.
Congratulate a colleague or a manager without awkwardness
A work greeting gets judged on how appropriate it is. The AI keeps the right distance if you tell it who is writing to whom.
Appropriate
- A formal form of address if that is the norm at your company
- Specifics: a project you pulled off together, help when things got hectic
- Wishes about work and about life – half and half
- A signature from the team if you are writing together
Better left out
- Overly familiar wording with your boss, even in a funny tone
- Jokes about age, looks or salary
- Wishing a manager “career growth”
- A long text in the group chat – three lines are enough
Toasts at the table
A toast is a story plus a wish, 30–60 seconds out loud. Tell the AI where the party is (an office party, a friend’s wedding, your father’s milestone birthday) and one story about the person of the hour. Ask for “easy to say, no long words”. Unsure about a joke? Ask for two versions: funny and neutral.
How to reply to greetings – colleagues, parents, clients
Replying to greetings is sometimes harder than sending them: you want something warmer than “thanks, everyone”. Pick a situation – an example appears beside it, and a matching prompt goes to the chat.
Replying to a client’s review is the same genre: thank them by name, say you passed it on to the specialist, invite them back. For a business it is free reputation work.
Thank you all for the wishes and kind words! It was lovely to open the chat this morning and see so many messages. Cake is in the meeting room after lunch – come by.
Prompt for the chat«Write a short reply to my colleagues in the team chat thanking them for the birthday wishes: gratitude, a light tone, an invitation to cake in the meeting room after lunch.»
A greeting on a card

The text is ready – now dress it up
Once the greeting is ready, ask in the same dialogue: “make a card with this text: peonies, watercolor, portrait orientation”. The AI already knows the occasion and the tone, so the image matches the mood.
Images come with plans from Lite – ₽690 a month, 150 units of energy; one card costs from 1 unit. If the lettering has to be on the image itself, choose GPT Image 2 – it draws letters more neatly.

FAQ
Is it free?
Yes. Greetings, verse, toasts and replies are text requests, included in the Starter plan with 30 units of energy. Only turning the greeting into a card with an image is paid – from Lite at ₽690.
How do I make the greeting sound like me and not like the internet?
Give the AI two or three details: what the person loves, what you have been through together, how you address each other. And add “no clichés”. A text with a garden, a cat or a shared hike in it will not sound generic.
Can I get a short greeting to send in a messenger?
Yes, just say so: “short, two lines”. You can ask for five options at once and pick the best.
Will the AI write verse with a name in it?
Yes. Give the name and how you address the person. If the name is hard to rhyme, the AI puts it in a separate line of address instead of breaking the rhyme.
What should the whole class write to a teacher?
Pick “Teacher” in the builder and add the subject, how many years the teacher has had the class and what they are remembered for. Ask for two versions: from the children and from the parents.
Can I get a voice or video greeting?
No, TryChat writes text and makes images. You can read the finished text yourself, write it on a gift tag or turn it into a card.
