Hair colour from a photo
Colour is the riskiest experiment: it will not grow back overnight. The AI recolours the hair on your selfie without touching skin or eyebrows, so you see what matters: whether cool blonde suits your skin tone and whether ash makes you look tired.
Name the shade the way a colourist would: “cool blonde with no brassiness”, “copper”, “dark chocolate”, “ash brown with natural roots”. That brings the result closer to what a stylist will actually do.

The AI does not know your hair
It cannot see thickness, texture or how your hair behaves in humidity. A pixie looks perfect in the picture; in real life fine hair needs styling. Your stylist will tell you that.
Colour is a guide, not a swatch
The screen, the light in the selfie and your current colour all affect the result. Dark brown will not turn blonde in one session — the AI does not account for that.

Can I try on hairstyles with AI for free?
In TryChat images are generated only on paid plans, starting with Lite at ₽690 a month: 150 units of energy, up to 150 try-ons. You can upload the selfie and prompt before paying, they are kept. The free Starter plan is for text questions, for example which haircuts usually suit a round face.
Which selfie should I upload?
Front-facing, in daylight, hair away from the face, no hat, glasses or filters. The better the forehead, cheekbones and hairline are visible, the more precisely the AI fits the haircut.
Will the face in the picture stay mine?
Yes, every prompt says “do not change the face, skin or background”. Only the hair changes. If something drifts, write “restore the face as in the original”.
Can I try several hairstyles at once?
Yes: “show three options side by side: a bob, a long bob and a pixie” gives you a collage in one generation. For a detailed try-on, one option at a time works better.
Will the result work as a brief for my hairdresser?
As a reference picture, yes — that is the main use of this page. Your stylist will still assess your hair texture and say whether it needs styling. The AI does not replace a consultation; it helps you explain what you want.
